Background
Project Boundary
The master plan study addresses only the SFSU main campus and does not include the University's satellite centers.
The project boundary contains 134 acres of state-owned campus land and an additional 10 acres including 1) the three
blocks of University Park South east of 19th Avenue and the Tapia Triangle, owned by the San Francisco State University
Foundation, and 2) the School of the Arts (SOTA) site, currently under negotiation for purchase. The master plan study
treats the entire 144 acres as one planning area.
