Neighborhood
The campus is bordered to the east by 19th Avenue and the Ingleside residential area; to the south by the Parkmerced
residential development; to the north by the Stonestown shopping center; and to the west by Lake Merced Boulevard
and the lake and its associated open spaces, including Harding Park, public and private golf courses, Fort Funston,
and the San Francisco Zoo. Stern Grove is located approximately one mile north of the academic core of campus.
