Scenario C
Scenario C locates the gym/recreation-wellness center on the Creative Arts and Tapia Triangle sites
Creative Arts on the softball field site, the nursing/child care/research building on the south side of
Holloway, the museum on 19th Avenue, and the conference center/hotel on 19th Avenue/Buckingham

- Frontage on Holloway Avenue can enliven that street at ground level, during the day and evening
- 2-parcel site can be phased
- Separate buildings, connected by a bridge, allow events to be held concurrently
Minus:
- Site is smaller than others requiring some 2-story building configuration
- May require some replacement housing from Tapia Triangle site
Creative Arts on Softball Site:
See Scenario A
Nursing/Child Care/Research on south side of Holloway Avenue:
Plus:
- Site close to the center of the campus with good access to transit and drop-off from Holloway Avenue
- Location on this site can enhance University Park South community
Minus:
- Removes existing housing that may need to be replaced before construction can occur and thus may delay project
- Could be perceived as a problem with Parkmerced community by introducing an academic land use into a residential area
Conference Center/Hotel on Buckingham Way/19th Avenue site:
See Scenario A
Museum on 19th Avenue (old HSS site)
Plus:
- Close to Muni
- Visibility on 19th Avenue
